18th Century Christian Hymn
Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring is the 32nd out of the 200 cantatas composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. The melody weaves in and out with a Celtic flare. This piece will excite both the performer and the listener.
-The piece can also be played as a duet or trio. The duet or trio should include the Violin Level 3-4 part as it provides the melody line.
–A Piano Accompaniment is available and can be purchased separately.
-A REHEARSAL TRACK with 4 Part Violin and Piano Accompaniment is available on the SHOP page, CHRISTMAS, STUDENT or TEACHER.
–A MINUS TRACK with piano accompaniment is available and can be purchased separately. The Minus Track includes the piano part and additional instrumentation to enhance the accompaniment. This is an exciting addition to practice with or use in a teacher’s studio. The Minus Track could be used in place of an accompanist and will enhance any performance.
-A SOLO version with piano accompaniment (for parts Level 7+, Level 5-6 and Level 3-4) is available on the SHOP page, CHRISTMAS, “JESU, JOY OF MAN’S DESIRING”, SOLO.
