“Funiculi, Funicula” is an exciting Italian piece that will bring smiles to the faces of your audiences. It is a quick learn and absolutely fun to play! It is used for Disneyland’s “Luigi Ride” in “Cars Land”. “Funiculì, Funiculà” is a famous Neapolitan song composed in 1880. It was written to commemorate the opening of the first funicular cable car on Mount Vesuvius. The Solo Version would be a fun to play at a string festival or recital.
-The piece can also be played as a duet or trio. The duet or trio should include the Violin Level 3-4 part as it provides the melody line.
