“Funiculi, Funicula” is an exciting Italian piece that will bring smiles to the faces of your audiences. It is a quick learn and absolutely fun to play! It’s full of exciting spiccato bowing and thrilling runs. It is used for Disneyland’s “Luigi ride” in “Cars Land”. “Funiculì, Funiculà” is a famous Neapolitan song composed in 1880. It was written to commemorate the opening of the first funicular cable car on Mount Vesuvius. The Solo Version would be suitable to play at a string festival or recital.
-The piece can also be played as a duet or trio. The duet or trio should include the Violin Level 3-4 part as it provides the melody line.
–VIOLA & CELLO parts are written to go along with the 4 Part Arrangement. These parts are available for purchase by selecting the VIOLA & CELLO button under each individual piece.
-An AUDIO TRACK with 4 Part Violin and Piano Accompaniment is available and can be purchased separately. This is an excellent way to practice and can also be used in a teacher’s studio.

–A MINUS TRACK with piano accompaniment is available and can be purchased separately. The Minus Track includes the piano part and additional instrumentation to enhance the accompaniment. This is an excellent way to practice and can also be used in a teacher’s studio. The Minus Track could be used in place of an accompanist and will enhance any performance.
-A SOLO version with piano accompaniment (for Advanced, Intermediate Advanced and Intermediate levels) is available for purchase by selecting the SOLO button under each individual piece. The Solo Version would be suitable to play at a string festival or recital.
