Austrian Waltz
This SOLO ARRANGEMENT is a delightful visit of the past with exciting runs and twists throughout! Traditional, yet fun! “The Blue Danube” is the common English title of “An der schönen blauen Donau“, by the Austrian composer Johann Strauss II, composed in 1866. It has been one of the most consistently popular pieces of music in the classical repertoire. The specifically Viennese sentiment associated with Strauss’s melody has made it an unofficial “Austrian National Anthem”. The Solo Version would be appropriate to play at a string festival or recital.
–A PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT is included.
-A 4 PART ARRANGEMENT with piano accompaniment (for Violin and Viola) is available on the SHOP page, CLASSICAL, STUDENT or TEACHER.
-A REHEARSAL TRACK with 4 Part Violin and Piano Accompaniment is available on the SHOP page, CLASSICAL, STUDENT or TEACHER.
–A MINUS TRACK with piano accompaniment is available and can be purchased separately. The minus track includes the piano part and additional instrumentation to enhance the accompaniment. This is an exciting addition to practice with or use in a teacher’s studio. This track could be used in place of an accompanist and will enhance any performance.
