Finlandia Hymn
The Finlandia Hymn refers to a serene hymn-like section of the patriotic symphonic poem Finlandia, written in 1899 and 1900 by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. Performers will love the interesting modulations, thrilling runs and rhythmic changes. The piece will bring a peaceful spirit to congregations and audiences alike.
-The 4 PART VIOLIN ARRANGEMENT includes the following 4 violin parts (Levels 7+, 5-6, 3-4 and 1-2), the piano accompaniment and score. The violin parts coincide with the Suzuki level books.
-The piece can also be played as a duet or trio. The duet or trio should include the Violin Level 3-4 part as it provides the melody line.
-Level 3-4 (VIOLA) and Level 1-2 (VIOLA) parts are available and can be purchased separately.
-A REHEARSAL TRACK with all 4 violins playing, piano acc. and additional instrumentation is available and can be purchased separately. The Rehearsal Track helps students learn the piece quickly. This is an exciting addition to practice with or to use in a teacher’s studio.
–A MINUS TRACK with piano accompaniment is available and can be purchased separately. The Minus Track includes the piano part and additional instrumentation to enhance the accompaniment. This is an exciting addition to practice with or use in a teacher’s studio. The Minus Track could be used in place of an accompanist and will enhance any performance.
-A SOLO version with piano accompaniment (Advanced, Intermediate Advanced and Intermediate levels) is available on the SHOP page, SACRED, BE STILL MY SOUL, SOLO.
